About Wanngardi Caravan Park

We are a small family owned and operated caravan park since 1982.  We are located in a lovely quiet bush setting just 15 mins from the heart of Alice Springs.

We have always had an environmentally friendly business model to do our bit to decrease our carbon footprint. Promoting responsible water use, renewable energy (solar power installed in 2015) and re-using, reducing and recycling.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First People and Traditional Custodians, and the Central and Eastern Arrernte people who are the traditional custodians of Mparntwe Alice Springs. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Wanngardi Caravan Park's COVID-19 Plan

We have a plan in place to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 spread, to keep everyone at Wanngardi safe and healthy: however it only works with your co-operation! As per the national recommendations, even though you are on holiday, please ensure you:

  • practice social distancing from other people not in your group
  • perform regular hand hygiene
  • practice good cough etiquette
  • don’t touch your face
  • keep common areas clean! We do our bit to clean common areas daily, however recommend you bring your own hand sanitiser and encourage you to use it before you enter and touch any shared spaces, and then again when you leave (even before you touch the door handle for the toilets and bathrooms).
  • Please be mindful of signage. If the sign says “Do NOT use”. Please do not use. It is there for a reason: ie someone forced into quarantine, something hasn’t been cleaned yet, or to protect someone at Wanngardi who may be high risk.

Thank you for your co-operation, it’s all these little things every day Australian’s are doing, that are keeping us safe. Finally, we would like to say thank you for your support during this really difficult time.
